Ascent to the Mythical Puis de Galatzó
This challenging and rewarding hike leads to the summit of Puig de Galatzó, one of Mallorca’s most legendary and mystical peaks. Beginning in shaded pine forests, the trail climbs steadily through a scenic mountain pass and a rocky quarry, becoming more demanding as it ascends. As hikers ascend, each step reveals expansive views and a profound connection to Mallorca’s landscape.
The summit offers a spectacular 360° panorama of the island and the surrounding sea. This path transcends a mere physical challenge, becoming a spiritual immersion in nature, solitude, and the very essence of the island.
Included at the Hike Station
Around 3 hours. The experience is flexible and can be adjusted depending on your time and preferences. Just speak with your guide.
To enjoy your hike comfortably, please bring:
At least 1.5L of water per person
A hat and sunscreen
Swimwear (for coastal hikes)
A small towel (if needed)
Any personal medication you may require during the hike (including inhalers)
Optional snacks (fruit, energy bars, etc.)
Many of our hikes include the opportunity for a swim. For added comfort when entering the water, we recommend bringing water shoes or swim shoes (optional). These are easy to find in most sports shops.
Please note that there are no shops or facilities along the trails.
For safety and comfort on the trail, please wear:
Trail running shoes or hiking shoes with good grip (required)
Socks (always required)
Comfortable sportswear, ideally quick-drying
A jacket or hoodie for sunset hikes, windy days, or cooler weather
For safety reasons, guests wearing flip-flops, sandals, open shoes, or other unsuitable footwear will not be able to join the hike. Regular sports shoes are not sufficient unless they are trail running shoes. Socks are mandatory.
